The biennial Dobell Drawing Prize is Australia’s leading prize for drawing and is an unparalleled celebration of drawing technique and innovation.
Presented by the National Art School (NAS) in partnership with the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation, the prize explores the enduring importance of drawing in
contemporary art practice.
Primal Venus is one of 64 works chosen from 1062 entries and will appear in the Dobell Drawing Prize #23 exhibition at the NAS Gallery, Sydney from 31 March to 10 June, 2023.
